• Are you a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing access to healthcare and setting an outstanding example?
• Would you like to receive an award of $40,000 for your current, overall work?
• Would you like the media to tell the story of your work in the community?
• Do you want the opportunity to share best practices with other organizations that provide access to healthcare?

The GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards target community-based healthcare nonprofits in the Research Triangle Park region that provide access to healthcare for the underserved.  Up to ten organizations in Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Harnett, Johnston, Orange, Person or Wake Counties will be awarded $40,000 each.

Application deadline – Monday, March 29, 2010 at 4:00 PM EDT

The GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards are held annually in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, the Philadelphia region of Pennsylvania and in the UK.

In the Research Triangle Park region, the GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards are presented in partnership with Triangle Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization that makes grants and administers a variety of programs for the community's benefit. Triangle Community Foundation connects philanthropic resources with community needs, creates opportunity for enlightened change, and encourages philanthropy as a way of life.
